DUPLICATION TOOL
You can now duplicate entries directly from your account dashboard and the entry process.

Entries copied prior to selecting categories will be found under “Incomplete Drafts,” while entries copied after selecting categories will be found under “Complete Drafts.”

From your Account Dashboard, you can duplicate an entry by clicking the “Copy” icon found to the right of your entry’s title. Doing so will immediately generate a copy and navigate you to its Base Information page.

Please Note
Copied entries will be titled nearly identically to the original, however their titles will now include the suffix “-copy” at the end to help identify different iterations of your entry. INVESTIGATION & REVIEW
NYF may request:

Proof of media placement

Evidence of client approval

Clarification on results and case study metrics

We reserve the right to contact the client or agency network to confirm details, if necessary.

PENALTIES FOR CONFIRMED SCAM WORK
If an investigation concludes that an entry constitutes scam advertising, defined as work that was fabricated, falsely represented, or executed without the client’s full knowledge and approval, the entry may be subject to penalties.

TRANSPARENCY & DUE PROCESS
Entrants will be notified if their work is under investigation and will be given the opportunity to respond and provide supporting documentation before any final decision is made.

At New York Festivals Advertising Awards, we are dedicated to honoring only authentic, client-approved, and publicly aired or published work. To ensure fairness and protect the integrity of the competition, we have implemented SCAMGUARD, a transparent but confidential system that empowers jurors to flag questionable work.

FLAGGING SUSPICIOUS ENTRIES
Our jury members are encouraged to anonymously flag entries that raise concerns about legitimacy. This may include, but is not limited to, work that:

Was never published, aired, or otherwise released to the public in a legitimate media buy.

Was submitted under misleading claims or inflated results.

Jurors can submit supporting comments or rationale for their suspicions as part of the confidential flagging process.

USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI)
New York Festivals recognizes that artificial intelligence and machine-assisted tools are increasingly part of modern creative workflows. Their use is permitted. However, all entries must meet the same standards of authenticity, transparency, and client approval as traditionally produced work. Entrants must ensure that:

AI tools are used as part of a legitimate creative process, not to fabricate work, results, or media placement.

All submitted work represents a real campaign that was client-approved and publicly aired or published.

Case studies, results, and metrics are accurate and not artificially generated, exaggerated, or misrepresented through the use of AI.

AI-generated or AI-assisted elements do not mislead jurors about the nature, scope, or execution of the work.

New York Festivals reserves the right to request disclosure or clarification regarding the use of AI tools as part of its investigation and review process. Failure to provide accurate information, or the use of AI to simulate, fabricate, or disguise non-existent work, will be treated as a violation of these Rules and Regulations and may be subject to the same penalties as confirmed scam advertising.

8. Confirmation Number

Upon confirmation, an invoice and order number will be generated and emailed to you. Please retain these for your records.

Your orders and entries will be displayed at the bottom of your Account Dashboard under “Paid Entries.”

After you receive your confirmation number, you will need to input the piece details including title, type of entry, background summary, translation (if not in English) and method of submission. You can also access the invoice for your order.

9. Piece details
